This week, year six have been examining the artwork of Idris Veitch. They looked at Idris’ ideas as a visual artist who worked in the digital collage/mixed media market and learned how this artist combined his experience in the digital computing world with his passion to become a fashion designer. Born in Jamaica, educated in America and then owning a studio in Tokyo, our children were able to see how Idris’ worldly experience were evident in his art work and used our school laptops to research the life of this unique artist.
