We have been continuing with our work on Life Cycles this week and we have been focusing on plants. We thought back to our knowledge about the life cycles of plants and what different plants look like at the different stages of their lives. We thought about the difference between flowering plants and non-flowering plants and whether that changes the stages of their life cycles. We then went outside to do a field enquiry. We looked around the school garden to see if we could find any plants at the different stages of their cycles and then decided how we could tell whether the plant was flowering or non-flowering.
