This week, year 6 visited the C.L.C. so that they could learn how to research topics on the computer. They learned how A.I. has affected the news and visited websites to determine whether or not the information provided was reliable. They also developed strategies which they could use to identify websites that could be potentially dangerous.
“It was a really fun session because we learned about something that we can use in real life. I could see how people can get scammed and I learned how to spot links and A.I. generated chats that can trick you into give somebody online your bank details or ip address.”
