We have had a really busy week, this week.

On Monday, we baked scones and made sandwiches ready for our ‘still life’ art lesson in the afternoon. The focus of this lesson was to recreate ‘Tea’ by Henri Matisse. We focused on the traditional set up with cakes, sandwiches and teapots and used pencil techniques to create light and shadow before painting our art with watercolour.

On Wednesday, we went to the CLC to learning about Online Publishing. We created books about the Victorians using Book Creator. This was a great tool and something we will continue to use in class going forward.

On Thursday, we went to ZSL zoo in Regent’s Park. This was to help us focus on wild life, as this has been a topic in both Science and Spanish. Our first activity was to find and draw pictures of the animals in Spanish and for Science, we had to create 3 different food chains. All had to include a producer, prey, predator, apex predator and a decomposer.
