This past Friday, year six visited the British Museum to complete a series of maths challenges. During this session, we learned that the British Museum was home to over 8 million artefacts that were collected from all over the world. It took the collectors over 50 years to count and collate them! I was most impressed when our children measured the height, length and width of the museum’s main room so that they could calculate the volume of the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery.
