This week, the children learnt to tell the time to the hour using analogue clocks. They identified the hour hand and the minute hand, understood that when the minute hand points to 12 it is o’clock, and practised reading and setting o’clock times on analogue clocks. They also matched o’clock times to familiar daily routines and built their confidence in telling the time.

As we come to the end of a wonderful year, I would like to say how incredibly proud I am of all the children. They have grown so much in confidence, independence and resilience, and have worked incredibly hard throughout the year. It has been a joy to watch them learn and develop, and they have made fantastic progress across all areas of the curriculum. They should all be very proud of everything they have achieved, and I know they will continue to flourish in Year 2. Thank you to all of our families for your support throughout the year, it has been greatly appreciated. I hope you all have a wonderful summer break.
