This week in PE, Year 5 began our Gymnastics unit of learning. First we talked about how our posture can help us roll and how we need to position our bodies. We also talked about safety and how we need to make sure our chins our tucked in so we don’t hurt our necks. Finally, we tried out a number of different types of rolls, including egg rolls, forward rolls, pike rolls and teddy bear rolls. We love rolling!
