It’s Debate Week and Year 2 were quick to reach a verdict of guilty  for our beloved Goldilocks, however after much deliberation and  consideration of all evidence presented, the unanimous vote of ‘not guilty’ was how the trial ended this morning.

The Year 2s debated with confidence and eloquence to get their points across. They developed their listening skills in order to counter argue the point they were presented with.

Apologies if your children are argumentative this Easter, perhaps they’re just looking for a debate? Hear them out though please, they may have a good point- or five!

Enjoy the break from school. Easter homework is already in the books and additional spelling has been sent home today. These words should all be spelled properly by the end of Year 2- no need to return them; keep them on the fridge and focus on a few a day.
