Year 4 had a fantastic trip to Fulham Palace, where we learned all about its fascinating history. We discovered that before Fulham Palace was built, the site was once home to a Roman villa. It was exciting to imagine what life would have been like when the Bishops of London lived at the palace many years ago.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to look at real artefacts that had been found at the site. These objects helped us learn more about the people who lived there in the past.

One of the highlights of the day was dressing up as Romans and taking part in role-play activities. We enjoyed pretending to be Romans and even had the chance to act out daily life, including cooking in a Roman kitchen.

We all had a wonderful day and learned so much about the history of Fulham Palace and its Roman past.
