Happy World Book Day!
We celebrated World Book Day in Reception today, which meant lots of reading, author study, costume sharing and general fun! The children were wonderfully dressed up with a good variety of characters and stories to choose from – congratulations to Kamar for winning the most creative costume award!
As well as sharing the stories we brought in from home, we also looked at two stories by the author Inga Moore. They were Six Dinner Sid and Moose’s Book Bus. They were wonderful stories and it was so nice to share them with Reception.
In the afternoon Reception were visited by Ms Harrison, who read them all a story – she even picked The Gruaffalo, one of their favourites! All in all, it was a wonderful day, and tomorrow will be just as good, we’ve got cooking!
