Despite the hot weather this week, Year 2 have continued to learn with great enthusiasm as we turned up the creative learning! In English, the children acted out scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. They particularly enjoyed performing the hilarious moment when Queen Titania fell in love with a half man, half donkey after Puck’s magical mischief! The children also began rehearsing their Neal Zetter poems and are looking forward to performing them with confidence next week.
In Computing, the children designed bespoke routes for their Bee Bots before challenging their friends to programme the robots successfully. They had to think carefully about sequencing, debugging and giving clear instructions, showing excellent problem solving skills while having lots of fun.
