Year 2 had a fantastic time at the CLC creating digital books all about Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale. Using the programme Book Creator, the children learned how to insert pictures, text, and even voice recordings into their digital books.
They also explored how to change font size, style, and colour, and particularly enjoyed personalising their books by making creative modifications such as changing the background colours.
Each child has been given their own unique QR code so they can continue working on their books both in school and at home.
A huge thank you to Gillian and Louise from the CLC for making this wonderful experience possible. We can’t wait to return to the CLC and continue developing our computing skills!
