Our focus story was The Graffalo’s Child this week. The children really enjoyed building their own Gruffalo caves and decorating them to make a comfortable home for the Gruffalo and his child. This included making furniture such as beds and pillows out of fabric. It was great to see the children show so much team work while they were doing this. The children also wrote about the different types of houses the creatures live in in the story.
