On Tuesday Reception celebrated International Talk like a Pirate Day!
Jason dressed up as Long John Silver and surprised the children during the morning’s carpet session! Afterward, the children learned some pirate slang and then had to find some treasure by following a set of clues. Each clue pointed to a 2D shape which the children had to find in the playground.
Afterward, we completed lots of different pirate-themed activities including making pirate hats and treasure maps. The children and the adults had a wonderful day which was lots of fun. Can’t wait to celebrate again next year!
