Year 4 enjoyed putting their Spanish speaking skills into practice this week! Using the vocabulary they learnt last week, the children asked one another ¿Tienes una mascota? (Do you have a pet?) and responded in Spanish.
Each child was given a paper pet and the class had to move around, ask questions and collect data to find out who had which pet. It was a great opportunity to practise speaking and listening while using Spanish for a real purpose.
Don’t worry – no furry or feathery friends were smuggled home at the end of the lesson!
