One of our units of learning this term, is “ People who help us”. In the role play areas in our classroom, the children had a go at exploring the roles of the firefighters, nurses and doctors. They dressed up in costumes, used props and engaged in role play scenarios that stimulate emergency situations. We made police cars and fire engines by using boxes and paint. We also made phones with card so we can call 999, in case of emergency. In Maths we practiced subitising to 5( recognise quantity without counting). In Music we are learning to read music notes and about cello, flute and harp which we will hear at a concert in our upcoming trip. We are also composing our own song about plants.
