Year 2 have had a really wonderful time exploring Camley Street Nature Park.

We met Dush who showed us around.

He was very impressed with the Year 2’s knowledge all about living things and their habitats.

We explored micro habitats and larger ones.

We got to go pond dipping and even found a rather impressive water boatman which the children could explain how it was well suited to its habitat due to its long legs for “rowing”.

Ask your child about how the canal got there and how it is a perfect habitat for coots, geese, ducks and swans.
