Our current Science Topic is Life Cycles, meaning we have been looking at different species of animals at various stages of their lives. We have been describing the life cycles of some plants and animals including mammals, birds and some flowering plants as well as observing and recording the different stages in the life cycle of living things, describe and name the stages of metamorphosis in an animal. This week we were focusing on the life cycles of birds. We were really lucky that our Science topic coincided with the chick eggs being delivered in Nursery. We went down in small groups to see the chicks and some of us were lucky enough to see one hatching in person! It was really nice to see what we had been learning about in class up close and in person.
