This term in year six we are going to find new and exciting ways to read. We want to unlock the wonderful things that can come to us when we become independent readers and learn how and why reading can bring us joy.
Reading can be inspiring, reading can be relaxing, reading can help us improve our lives and most importantly, reading can be a lot of fun.
Is time travel possible? Are scientists cloning extinct animals so they can live today? How did Richard Branson become a billionaire? Who was Marcus Rashford’s favourite teacher when he was growing up? Who was Winston Churchill’s favourite spy? We can find the answers to any of these questions as we grow into more confident, more capable readers.
