Year 2 had a fantastic time gardening this week. Kathy from Regenerous visited the school and led sessions with groups of children throughout the week.
The children planted strawberries, mint, rosemary, and thyme, and had the opportunity to use a range of new gardening equipment, generously provided through the School Garden Grant and the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) grant.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a beautiful space within our school—an area where children can be calm and reflective, while also learning about plants and life cycles.
This marks just the beginning of an exciting new space for us to explore and enjoy. The positive response from both the children and the adults working with them has been truly wonderful.
