Well, the last full week of school this term has been one of many great achievements for our wonderful Year 2s.

Tuesday’s Nativity was a huge success thanks to the dedication of our children. They all learnt their lines and performed them with such prosody. They took to the stage like ducks to water and I couldn’t have been more proud. Their energy and excitement after the show was a clear indication the children were proud of themselves – what a wonderful feeling they shared.

Year 2 have completed their D.T project by making fire engines and have once again displayed their creative talents. Ask them what sort of different attachments they learnt about in school: The L-brace, tabs, flange and slot were all helpful attachment techniques when they were constructing.

Year 2 have also created fabulous- festive- decorated -salt dough ornaments for our school fair this Friday- they have certainly brought Christmas cheer into our class. If you fancy buying one … come on down!!

Rehearsing at St Mary and St Pancras Church.
