This week in Maths we have been looking at multiplication.
The children have learnt that when we add groups of the same value (repeated addition), we can also use the X symbol.
Year 2 have been putting counters into equal groups.
They can now show the repeated addition and the multiplication sentence to support their representation.
Test them: Can you draw 5 equal groups of 3?
In English the children have been reading The Twits and today they have created a rather devious plan. Can you ask your child what prank they are planning for their victim? Watch this space! Cunning writing to come!
