It was a very colourful week in Nursery. Our focus story was Elmer, the colourful, unique elephant
During our Maths lessons we learnt about the names of different colours. We learnt one less as we sang the Nursery Rhyme “Five little monkeys jumping on the bed” but instead of monkeys, we used five elephants to jump on a parachute.
We also did a Science experiment where we could see the mixing of prime colours to create many other different colours. We added warm water to skittles which created a rainbow of colours.
In Art, we used various techniques and materials to create our own patchwork elephant.
