This week the children had a DT challenge – to design and build a bridge for the Three Billy Goats Gruff to cross! We started by looking at the designs of different existing bridges. This children talked about the features of the bridges and why they liked them. Then they drew pictures of how they would like their bridge to look. They worked together to use different materials to build their bridge. The children then tested the bridges by placing some small world goats on them. All of the bridges were strong enough to hold the goats!
