This week the year 2s have worked their Christmas socks off!
We explored the poem “Alternative Santa” by Roger McGough and decided to make our own alternative Christmas.
We discussed traditions around Christmas and explored the idea of breaking them.
The Year 2s put their computing skills to the test and published their poems on a fantastic App – Pic Collage. They learnt how to add text, change font and colour whilst also add photos relevant to their poems.
We worked extremely hard to the very end and I can officially say…they really deserve their break.
Well done Year 2- what a term!
