Year 2 enjoyed an exciting African drumming session with Kwame! The children learnt how to play djembe drums, including tilting them to help the sound carry. They explored different rhythms and discovered how striking different parts of the drum could create different sounds. Some children also had a turn playing the shekere. It was a wonderful opportunity to make music together and try new instruments!
