This week, our students learned how to play a series of maths games. Year six were focussing on the concept of probability when rolling dice and had to use a variety of mental maths strategies so that they could find numeric patterns in game known as 24.
“At first, beating the year six students at twenty-four was a walk in the park. However, as they became more confident and began to find their own numeric patterns, I had to stop playing. If I had carried on playing, I would not have ended the day undefeated.”
