Year 2 recently visited the Gillespie Park Ecology Centre for a learning session all about mapping. The children were provided a blank map of the Gillespie Park area which they had to fill in using a compass and by following directions. The children were supremely well-behaved during the session – including when we got trapped in the park due to an Arsenal football match being played nearby! Ms. Hedges and I are lucky to teach such a wonderful group of children.
