This week in Year 3, we learnt all about the gory world of mummification; a process used to keep the bodies of Pharaohs preserved. We used a class member to demonstrate all the different steps of mummification, including adding salt to the body, washing the body and wrapping it in linen cloth. We then debated whether mummification was cruel or kind.
