Our DT project in Summer 2 has been to design a piece of fabric that we would then create by using a homemade loom. This linked to our Ancient Egyptian topic because Ancient Egyptians used huge looms to make their clothes. We first had to use hammers and nails to make our loom, carefully of course! We then weaved to create our wonderful patterned material. This took a lot of patience but we got there in the end. Keep scrolling to see the outcomes!
