This week in Year 3 we took an exciting trip to the British Museum to explore the Ancient Egypt exhibitions they have there. We spent the day looking at ancient artefacts and reading about where they came from. We thought about what artefacts might be used even today and how they have changed over time. After a wonderful lunch out on the pristine lawns of the British Museum, enjoying the sunshine, we went back inside and looked at some real Egyptian mummies. We even saw the mummy of Cleopatra, which has been preserved for over 2000 years!
