This week, year six were discussing how the church can support a wide range of people during the Christmas period. We looked at the reasons why some people turn to the church when they were feeling lonely or isolated during Christmas and how members of the congregation felt compelled to provide a sense of community for anybody who needs a helping hand. After watching a series of adverts that inform people how their local church can help provide a safety net during the festive period, year six then drew on these ideas so that they could generated their own Christmas webpages that would provide information for anybody who was in need.
