It’s been a very busy and exciting week in Nursery!
We welcomed parents to two Stay and Play sessions—one with Camden Kids Talk and the other with Bookstart, a lovely initiative from our local library that encourages early reading. It was wonderful to see so many families engaging in our learning.
Our focus story this week was What the Ladybird Heard. We explored the story through a range of fun activities including drawing maps, working together as a team, and our favourite—baking and decorating ladybird biscuits!
In Phonics we have been learning to segment and blend farm animal names and had a go at writing their names, using magnetic letters.
In RE, we talked about special places around us, such as our school garden. The children enjoyed collecting natural objects and using them to create beautiful pieces of art.
In Maths, we explored numbers to 10. We practised putting them in order on a number line, and had lots of fun using water paints to reveal hidden numbers—like magic!
