This term, year 3 visited the C.L.C. so that they could learn how to research topics on the computer. They learned that some information found online is not accurate and visited websites to determine whether or not the information provided was reliable. Later in the session, experts from the CLC taught our students different strategies that they could use when researching topics independently and explained to our children the steps that are needed to verify the validity of the facts that they found.
“It was a really fun session because I love to learn about animals and now I can find more things about animals when I get home.”
