Our Nursery children, together with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, enjoyed a magical day out at Broadstairs beach – and what a day it was! From the moment we arrived, the sound of waves and seagulls set the scene for a day full of laughter, learning, and lots of sandy fun!
The children wasted no time diving into beach activities. Buckets and spades in hand, they got to work building the most imaginative sandcastles we’ve ever seen.
There were joyful splashes in the shallow water as the children cooled off under the summer sun, all under the careful watch of our staff. For many, this was their first time feeling the sand between their toes and dipping their feet in the sea – a truly special experience.
We paused for a picnic lunch, enjoying tasty snacks and cool drinks while sitting on our beach blankets. ( We managed to keep the seagulls away from our food).
It was a wonderful day filled with joy, exploration, and friendship – a perfect way to celebrate summer and make memories that will last a lifetime. A huge thank you to our wonderful staff and parent helpers who made this trip possible!
