This week, Historians in Year 3 have been learning about the threats present in the Stone Age and the assets that could help protect them. We took our learning outside the classroom, where children hunted and foraged for assets to protect them from threats such as the cold, bad weather, angry wild animals and starvation. Some children found the asset of plants and vegetables that will help save them from the threat of starvation. Other children found flint, which can be used to craft hunting tools, and create fire, which will save them from both the threat of starvation and the threat of freezing.

Well done Year 3, on being so engaged and focused in our Unit of Learning!
