This week the children loved reading the story of “Supertato”, the vegetable superhero who saves his friends from the Evil Pea! They enjoyed dressing up as superheroes and making their own Supertato characters using real vegetables. They designed the costumes for their superheroes. A group of children extended the Supertato story and came up with a narrative for what happens next. We also did potato printing and the children were challenged to come up with their own pattern. We heard some very creative ideas about how the children planned to rescue the Evil Pea who was trapped in our classroom!
