This week, year six have been conducting a series of maths investigations and puzzles to test their problem-solving abilities.  How can we balance a structure so that the foundations are not compromised? Can our team manipulate a shape so it can fit into an object that appears to be too small? What map reading skills do we possess and how can our team use these skills to piece together a city?

These were some of the questions that the children began to become aware of as they navigated through these particular investigations and challenged each other to these numeric games.
