This week, Year 4 teamed up with Year 3 for an exciting Maths Challenge Day filled with teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of fun! Our first task was Balancing Penguins on an Iceberg—but to make it even trickier, we could only use our pinkies! It took patience and laughter, but we managed to keep those penguins steady.

Next, we tackled a colourful puzzle: fitting trapeziums into a hexagon. The catch? No two shapes of the same colour could touch. This tested our logical thinking and colour coordination—and definitely got us talking strategy!

Finally, we all joined together to piece together a giant jigsaw puzzle. Everyone had a role, and the teamwork was fantastic. It was a brilliant day of learning, cooperation, and fun!
