This week we celebrated British Values. In Nursery, we focused on learning about Respect. The children took part in everyday activities that helps them learn about taking turns, sharing and showing good manners. Below are just some examples.
We listened to stories such as “ Hands are not for hitting” and “Do Unto Otters” which teaches children how to treat others with respect.
During carpet session, we passed a “Kindness Heart” around, and each one of us said something kind to our friend sitting next to us.
We even learnt how to say please and thank you using Makaton.
Everybody looked very colourful dressed up in their red, blue and white clothes.
