This week, our nursery children had a wonderful time celebrating Harvest Festival at St Mary’s Church.

The Harvest Festival is a special time of year when we say thank you for all the good things we have — the food we eat, the people who help us grow, and the world around us.

The children walked down to St Mary’s  Church with their teachers and friends, carrying baskets with food and tins to share. Inside the church, we joined together in song and celebration, thanking God for the harvest. The children enjoyed singing the song”Harvest Rock and Roll,” and listening to a short story from the vicar about sharing and caring for others.

We talked about how Harvest Festival is not just about food, but about helping others.
