This week, year six used a freeze-framing technique to develop a story setting from our class novel. We asked our children to create a still image that would represent the emotions of an evacuee who has been forced to move away from his home during the Second World War.  Through the art of acting, this exercise will allow our students to develop empathy for William and Mr. Tom and help spark ideas for our class discussions and independent writing.
