This week in Nursery, we have been learning all about the importance of Easter and why it is a special time for many people.
We enjoyed a range of exciting activities to help us understand the meaning of Easter. The children had great fun decorating their own Easter eggs, using bright colours and creative designs. We also held an egg rolling competition, where everyone had the chance to take part and cheer on their friends.
As part of our learning, we visited our local church to observe the changes that take place during the Easter period. During our visit, Father Paschal spoke to us about Lent and the Easter season. He helped us understand why Easter is celebrated and explained the meaning behind Easter eggs as a symbol of new life.
Back at Nursery, the children took part in a joyful Easter egg hunt in the garden. They worked together to search for hidden eggs, showing great teamwork and excitement throughout the activity.
It has been a wonderful week of learning, creativity, and celebration. The children have shown great curiosity and enthusiasm as they explored the meaning of Easter in fun and engaging ways.
