This week, we learned about the artist, Jackson Pollock and explored his exciting style of painting. We used flicking, dripping and splatting techniques to create our own artwork, enjoying the freedom to experiment with paint in different ways. These activities helped us to strengthen our hand and arm muscles and develop the control needed for writing.
We also drew landscapes, thinking carefully about the lines and marks we wanted to make. We talked about our ideas, shared our thoughts with our friends and confidently explained our artwork.
Through these creative experiences, we followed our interests, tried new techniques and expressed ourselves in different ways.
