This week in P.E., the children were excited to choose between two fantastic activities: using the climbing apparatus in the hall or playing football on the pitch with Jason. After our usual stretches and warm-up to get our bodies moving, the children split into their groups and eagerly headed off to their chosen activity.

In the hall, there was some brilliant climbing on display! The children showed great confidence as they navigated the climbing frames, balancing beams, and jump-off points, supporting each other and challenging themselves with enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, out on the pitch, the footballers were full of energy. They practised passing the ball to teammates, took turns dribbling, and even had a go at striking towards the goal. Let’s just say Jason was a very generous goalkeeper — and the children’s powerful kicks and aim gave him quite the workout!

It was a lively, fun session and lovely to see the children so engaged, active, and proud of their efforts. Reception parents, head over to Tapestry if you want to see a video of the footballers in action! Well done, everyone!
