This week, we were visited by a group of scientists and researchers from the Francis Crick Institute. They are able to explain to our children how anybody interested in science can pursue a career in this field and how science and technology is changing our world and local community.

After a standard question and answering introduction, the volunteers from the Francis Crick Institute began their tutorial and practical learning lesson about our skeletal structures.

In this session, our children learned about medical advances that allow our bodies to heal faster and why it is important to understand why/how our bodies move. We were given a series of bones to measure and made predictions regarding the functions of different these bones.
