We are so excited to welcome Year 2 back after the summer holidays and can’t wait to get started on a term full of fun and learning!
PE will take place on Friday mornings, so children will need to come to school in their P.E kits with their uniform and school shoes to change into.
In English we will begin with Man on the Moon, a funny story about cheeky aliens in space, before moving on to the action-packed adventures of Traction Man.
In History, we’ll be stepping back in time to 1666 to discover the Great Fire of London and how it changed the city, whilst in science we’ll be exploring the animal kingdom, learning about different groups of animals, how they flourish and what they need to survive.
On Tuesday afternoons we will also be enjoying music lessons with Miss Pryce. It’s going to be a brilliant start to the year and we can’t wait to see all the curiosity, creativity and excitement Year 2 will bring!
