This week, we were fortunate enough to take part in an amazing drumming workshop, led by Kwame who showed us how to use the djembe drums. We played to his command and he showed us some different call and response rhythms on the drums. He taught us how to play different parts of the drum to make different sounds. For example, playing the rim of the drum makes a higher pitch sound compared to using your palm in the middle of the drum.
