Year 2 have had a lovely week of reading and discovery! We enjoyed a cosy reading morning, with books on every table and a roaring fire on the classroom board. It was wonderful to welcome parents who were able to join us and share stories with the children.
We also welcomed a scientist from the Crick Institute, who helped us learn all about germs. The children used microscopes to take a closer look at different materials around the classroom and practised washing their hands effectively to help reduce the spread of germs.
