This week in art, we explored the work of William H Johnson and created an artist page inspired by his colourful portraits. We then drew the outlines of our own bodies, thinking carefully about the shapes and different body parts. We also experimented with mixing paint colours to discover which new colours we could make!
Next, we will use our colour-mixing skills to paint our portraits, adding facial features and patterns to our clothes. We will bring our finished pictures together to create a class group portrait.
